Halloween Brownie Cupcakes

Hello Loves!

Every year I see people doing seasonal activities, something of which I always intend on doing but for whatever reason never get around to doing so. This year however I have decided to make more of an effort to do season activities like visiting a pumpkin patch and baking Halloween themed cupcakes. I saw these ones on Pinterest and I just had to try them out for myself!

Brownie Mix
Vanilla Cake Mix
Orange Food Colouring
Cupcake Liners
Frosting (I used vanilla)
Orange & Black Sprinkles

1. Mix Up a batch of brownie mix I personally like to use the BBC Good Food Recipe.

2. Mix up a batch of vanilla cake mix, again I like to use the BBC Good Food Recipe, you then want to colour it with the orange food dye. Slowly add in drops until you get your desired shade of orange.

3. Once both batters are ready you want to fill your cake liners starting with the brownie mix. You want to fil the liners 1/3 of a way using the brownie mix and then top with the vanilla cake mix.

4. Pop your cupcakes into your preheated oven (180ยบ Celcius) for 20-25 minutes or until a knife comes out clean from the centre of a cupcake.

5. Leave to cool fully and then you are ready to pipe and decorate and voila, yummy Halloween brownie cupcakes!

What fall activities have you done, or are planning to do? I have one or two more things I would like to try out and share with you guys so stay tuned!

  1. Omg, I love these! What a fun surprise to have the two layers! I'll have to give these a try.
