Hello Lovlies!

Todays post I am going to be sharing with you my July goals and also reflecting back on my June goals from last month. June was a good month for me goals wise so hopefully I can carry the motivation though this month too.

1) Start Driving Lessons again
I have officially started lessons again, I have a new instructor and she is lovely. The only downside is my work schedule is a rota basis making booking lessons difficult.

2) Finish Reading Three Books.
I failed miserably on this one. Zero books read :(

3) Take Time To Pamper Myself
I have been making more of a conscious effort to pamper myself this month and I feel much happier for it. Sometimes we all need some down time for some tlc.

4) Post On Instagram More Often.
I think I have half and halved this one. I have been posting more frequently on Instagram but I would still like to post more than I do. I guess this is still a work in progress.

1) Read
This year I have been terrible at keeping up with my reading which is a huge shame because it is something I love to do. I have set a goal on Goodreads to read 55 books this year and I am so behind. I have 5 days holiday this week so I want to attempt to read two or three books in the hopes of kicking this reading slumps butt.

2) Blog Photography
So many bloggers now have incredible photography skills it can be so hard to compete when you're still totally clueless and making things up as you go photography wise. My photography game isn't the best but it isn't terrible, I have come so far compared to when I first started blogging. This month I want to get my creative juices flowing and work on my photography skills.

3) Bye-Bye Numbers
Ohhkay, I have briefly mentioned this on Twitter, blogging, Instagram etc is so controlled by numbers, stats, followers; you name it. I am concentrating so much on numbers constantly worrying about why my engagement is shit, how come I'm not gaining? I already know the answer it's the bloody algorithm. I have decided to not give a f*ck. I have decided I am going to go back to the state of mind I was in when I started two years ago. Learning, meeting new people, writing and creating were things that made me happy, not only did I feel better when I didn't care about the numbers but my blog did do. Don't get me wrong I will still track my numbers but instead of panicking when I wake up and see I have lost 20 followers I'll just carry on.

What are your goals for July?

  1. Pampering yourself is so important so I'm glad you were able to do that some in June! And I'm with you, I need to up my blogging photography skills something serious. Great post, xoxo

    1. Thanks so much lovely! I'll for sure be continuing to pamper myself now I've gotten used to incorporating it into my week! Good luck with your blog photography! -xo

  2. Worrying about stats is something I should stop doing. But it`s so hard. Because obviously blogging is more than just numbers. But at the same time you want to keep track of what you are doing. Good luck with your July Goals, hope you`re going to get back on track with your reading challenge.

    1. I agree, trying to not worry too much about numbers is so hard! I have found a happy medium this past week. I am still taking notice of my numbers and tracking them, trying new things to increase my engagement but instead of freaking out if my stats drop I shrug it off haha -xo

  3. I love pampering too! I've just started driving myself and I like it a lot! Your post is amazing!

    Have an awesome day!
    xx Kris
