April Goals & March In Review

Hi Lovelies!

Todays post I am updating you on how my March goals went and telling you my goals for April. March was a relatively good month for me goals wise and because it was my 20th birthday. I know most of you won't see a 20th birthday being a big deal but for me it was a huge deal! I cannot believe I am no longer a teenager! saying I'm 20 out loud makes me sound old. Like I really do have to be a grown up now haha!

March In Review

1. Become More Dedicated To Bullet Journaling
I feel as though I have well & truly completed this goal, I have had so much fun this month researching ideas on Pinterest & watching plan with me videos on YouTube. I think I have really found my style in bullet journalling now and I am loving it. I love how in the future i'll have my bullet journals to look back on.

2. Read More
Again I think I have completed this goal too, don't get me wrong I haven't read a huge amount but I did read 3 books this month. So far I have read 7 books this year which isn't great as I still have 48 books left out of my 55 book target this year. There are so many amazing books I want to read this year so I look forward to reading more.

3. Look For Instagram Photo Props
I'm not too sure about this goal, I mean I did technically look for props but I didn't actually find any I liked. The hunt for props will continue though!

4. Lose 10lbs Before My Birthday
My birthday was the 31st of march so I had plenty of time to lose 10lbs but I failed miserably! And thats the end of that HAHA!

April Goals

1. Read Even More
I have loved reading these past few weeks so I want to make it my goal to carry it on, to read as many amazing books as I can. I love reading & I love the feeling of getting lost in a book, I'm surprised at how many people I know that don't read!

2. Pre-Write Blogposts
I really want to start pre-writing blogposts again, now I am working a lot pre-writing posts is essential for me now. I used to plan and pre-write blogposts all the time which I found gave me so much more time to work on other aspects of my blog making it all feel less like a chore.

3. Home Decor
This month I really want to work on adding decor to my house. All of the rooms in my house are only half done, they have the main bits finished like the furniture etc but the small decor pieces are missing to finish off the rooms completely.

4. Finish My Office Space
If you have read my previous posts and/or follow me on social media you will know our 2nd bedroom in our house is our spare room and my dressing room, the 3rd bedroom is Scotts space which I steer clear of. I am concentrating at the moment on splitting my vanity into an office/blogging space too so I have somewhere dedicated to blogging giving me the correct head space and motivation to get what I need done.

So theres all of my goals for the month, what goals have you set yourself this month?

  1. I love these posts, every time I read your review posts I think to myself I need to do this!

    1. Thanks so much lovely!Reading other peoples posts like this always leaves me feeling super motivated too! -xo

  2. I really need to start reading more as well! I was really good at it during the winter months, but then slowly stopped. I think my goals will be to try and attend all of my gym classes but not going to lie, sometimes the pub just gets in the way... xx

    1. I wish I had the motivation to go to the gym! I'm so lazy haha x

  3. You've done so well with your March goals! I'm loving bullet journalling too, it's really helping keep me focussed and helping me with my memory. It's helped my blogging too because I've been able to organise myself so much better. Good luck with your pre-writting goal. This is one of the things I'm aiming to do too. I'd like to have a week's worth of posts ready to go, so that if I have a rubbish time with my health, I'll still have content going live. I managed it a few weeks ago, but then had two weeks where I couldn't blog. So that put pay to my pre-written content! Xx

    1. Thanks lovely! Bullet journaling is literally my favourite thing. I love how you can be so creative with it but also practical! I am doing okay ish with pre writing, not as good as I'd like since I've been working 8 days straight but I'm getting there slowly! Xx
