All girls want clear and beautiful skin, unfortunately we
aren't all blessed with naturally flawless skin. In secondary school I had
rather bad acne and I was prescribed medication to try and clear my skin. The medication
didn't work very well so I figured I just needed to make more of an effort with
my skin. Recently I have made a huge change in my skin care regime and I have
noticed a huge difference in my complexion. These are the steps that I have
learned to work well with my skin.
Step 1: Cleansing
Cleansing your skin is very important it removes bacteria,
makeup and oil build up. Apply your cleanser to your face and use circular
motions to remove any toxins. Then remove with a damp flannel and pat your face
dry with a soft towel.
Step 2: Exfoliating
It is important to exfoliate at least two to three times a
week. Exfoliators stimulate circulation and removes dead skin cells, oil and
dirt. After you have finished exfoliating remove with warm water and use a
flannel to pat cold water over your face to ensure you close your pores. After
exfoliating my skin always fees lovely and smooth!
Step 3: Moisturising
Moisturising is essential in everyone’s skin care routine,
weather you have dry, oily or combination skin. It is still important! I have
oily skin and I have realised if I do not moisturise my skin feels more oily as
my skin overcompensates moisture by creating excess oil.
Step 4: Face Masks
Face Masks are great for bringing tired and dull skin back
to life. This step is more luxurious and I think most girls love to relax with
a face mask. When applying your face mask always dampen your skin with warm
water and apply the product in circular motions. When removing use a warm
flannel and then finally rinse your flannel with cold water and dab your face
to close your pores. I like to use face masks 1-2 times a week.
I hope these tips were helpful, don’t forget everyone’s skin
is different. Skin care is about trial and error until you find a regime that
suits your skin.
Much Love,
ChloeDanielle
